The Bajaj Chetak 35 Series is the 2025 flagship refresh of the iconic Chetak brand, now built on a new frame that places its battery pack under the floorboard to free up more storage and improve ergonomics. It has a 3.5 kWh battery giving a claimed range of ~ 153-155 km on a full charge, with a 950-W onboard charger that can take it from 0-80% in about 3 hours (or ~3h25 for lower trims). The motor produces ~ 4.2 kW peak power (≈ 5.6 bhp), with top speed in the upper variants at ~ 73 km/h, while the base 3503 trim is capped around ~ 63 km/h to lower cost. Comfort and usability get a boost via a longer seat (≈ 725 mm), wider/longer floorboard, and generous ~ 35 litres of under-seat storage. Other premium touches in higher trims include a touchscreen TFT display with smartphone connectivity, music control, maps, geo-fencing, accident detection etc., and an all-metal steel monocoque body rated for durability. The ex-showroom price begins around ₹ 1.20 lakh for mid variant, with the flagship version higher, while the entry 3503 model is somewhat more affordable but with fewer features.
